Build a holiday plan that you can explain
Start with the real trip rather than a generic itinerary written to fill a form. Decide how many nights you want in each place, whether you will change hotels and which journeys are realistic within the time available.
For example, a stay based in Amsterdam with day trips needs a different accommodation explanation from a route moving between Amsterdam, Rotterdam and another country. Record overnight locations separately from sightseeing stops. You do not need to invent a long list of attractions to make a short holiday credible.
Check accommodation and transport together
Map each overnight stay to an accommodation arrangement and compare the arrival and departure dates with the travel plan. A gap between two bookings or an impossible transfer is a question to resolve before submission.

Connect the holiday budget to your circumstances
