Can you work remotely from Spain on this visa?
No. Spanish consular guidance states that the non-lucrative visa is not a work permit and does not allow professional activity, including remote online work. An applicant planning to keep working remotely should assess Spain’s international telework route rather than reshaping a work plan to fit the NLV.
What should the application evidence establish?
The file should establish lawful UAE residence and jurisdiction, sufficient qualifying resources for every applicant, compliant health insurance, accommodation plans, clean criminal history where required, and medical and civil status evidence. Forms, bank records and family documents must be consistent and properly legalised or translated when the consular checklist requires it.
