Which visa or entry route applies for Umrah?

Saudi entry eligibility depends on nationality and the traveller’s supporting status. Eligible travellers may be able to perform Umrah under a tourist eVisa or another authorised visa route, subject to current rules and excluding Hajj. Do not assume that UAE residence alone creates eligibility.

What should be planned before booking?

Confirm the entry route and official permit steps before committing to restrictive travel. Then coordinate arrival airport, Makkah and Madinah sequence, hotel walking distance or shuttle arrangements, room occupancy, train or road transfers, baggage and the needs of children, older travellers or people with reduced mobility.

Entry

Visa eligibility, passport and Nusuk steps

Stay

Named hotels, room type and meal plan

Movement

Flights, airport, intercity and local transfers

How should Umrah package options be compared?

Compare the actual hotel and room, distance to the Haram, transport method, baggage, meals, transfer schedule, visa assistance, insurance and cancellation conditions. Labels such as economy, comfort or VIP are not enough. Every inclusion should appear in a dated quotation and remain subject to supplier confirmation.

Umrah questions from UAE travellers

These answers cover entry, Hajj boundaries, Nusuk and package transparency.

Do all UAE residents need a separate Umrah visa?

No. The lawful route depends on passport and current Saudi eligibility. Some travellers may use an eligible tourist eVisa or another authorised route for permitted Umrah outside Hajj.

Is a tourist visa valid for Hajj?

No. Tourist and Umrah permissions do not authorise Hajj. Hajj requires the official route and permits for that season.

Do I need Nusuk?

Nusuk is Saudi Arabia’s official platform for current Umrah planning and permit information. Travellers should follow the requirements shown for their dates and status.

What should an Umrah package quotation include?

It should name flights, baggage, hotels, room occupancy, meal plan, transfers, visa support, insurance, ziyarat or guiding, cancellation terms and exclusions.

Does DreamSphere guarantee entry or permits?

No. Saudi authorities control visas, permits and admission. DreamSphere provides private travel planning and document support.
